Learning Targets:  This week we will be reviewing, taking the test and discussing the school theme for this month in connection with SEW.

CHANGE - Thursday:  Test

Friendzy:  As we start the 2026-2027 school year, unit one of our Friendzy curriculum is ‘Ohana-Stick together! It addresses the important topic of community.  One of our key Bible verses for this unit is Romans 12:9-10 which says, “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourself.” The other is Hebrews 13:1 which states, “Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.” This month our school will focus on understanding how we can accomplish more together as a community of believers than any of us ever could alone.

Math

Learning Targets:   In addition to taking the math MAP test, we will be discussing least common multiples and then reviewing for the test.

Language Arts 

Learning Targets:  Students will evaluate how flashbacks, dramatic irony, and foreshadowing build suspense in our novel.

Science

Learning Targets: This week we will be starting a new unit and answering the questions:

How do producers grow and increase their biomass?

What are the “kinds” of work you do that require energy?
