Bible

Learning Targets:  This week we will be discussing Jesus as the fulfillment of God's promises, reviewing and taking the test.

Thursday:  Bible memory due - Isaiah 9:6-7 

Wednesday, Sept. 23:  Test

Friendzy:  As we start the 2026-2027 school year, unit one of our Friendzy curriculum is ‘Ohana-Stick together! It addresses the important topic of community.  One of our key Bible verses for this unit is Romans 12:9-10 which says, “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourself.” The other is Hebrews 13:1 which states, “Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.” This month our school will focus on understanding how we can accomplish more together as a community of believers than any of us ever could alone.

Math

Learning Targets:   We will be discussing prime factorization, factors, least common factors, multiples, and greatest common multiples. 

Homework:  due the next day

Language Arts 

Learning Targets:  Following MAP testing on Monday and Tuesday, we will write an argument paragraph explaining how access to information affected the Danish people’s fear during the German occupation.

Science

Learning Targets: This week we will review concepts and vocabulary from Unit 1 on Populations and Ecosystems.  You will have a review packet to help study for the test.
