Learning Targets: This week, we will take the Language MAP test on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Monday, Thursday and Friday, we will evaluate the challenges that Ha and her family face in America.

This week in Bible, we will study the book of Matthew. This study will cover the context of Matthew's call and the historical context of Jesus' life. We will also explore the idea of "God with us" and how it is one of the missions of Jesus to restore shalom in the world.

This week in science, we will wrap up our unit on Gravity and Kinetic Energy. This week, we will review and assess on all our content relating to gravity, force, acceleration, speed, kinetic energy, and potential energy. After assessing, we will design and build "egg helmets" with partners, trying to keep a plastic egg with kidney beans inside from breaking open when dropped. (An email will go out explaining materials).

Social Studies: This week we will have our second assessment on Ancient India. This will only be a short quiz, and all questions will be multiple choice. We will also explore Gupta India, and why its civilizations fell. Finally, we will watch a short video that discusses everything we learned for this unit.
