Standards-Based Grading

Dr. Scott has a Standards-Based Grading website linked above where you can find many resources on how to get started on your SBG journey. I recommend checking out the collection of research under "What is Standards-Based Grading" to understand the "why" behind our request to shift your practice. 

At the Quia link above, you'll find help with how to use SBG with Quia to organize test questions by standard and assess student proficiencies without having to do the math yourself. You'll also be able to share your standards-based questions with your colleagues.

In the third button, you'll find some help with how to have students self-assess their process grade, and how you can use Google Classroom's rubric feature to asses them and return timely feedback to the student.
