Go to https://appleid.apple.com/account to begin.
Fill in your first and last name and birthday. In the email address box, type in your school google account. Choose and enter a password.
Type a phone number where you can be reached right now. You will need to verify this immediately, so you can use your cell phone or a direct extension.
When finished, click "Continue."
You will receive an email at the address you entered. It will contain a verification code. Type in the code.
You will also receive a phone call or text message at the number provided with another verification code. Type in the code.
Click on the settings gear on your iPad.
At the top, under the search bar, you can click to sign in.
You may need to verify your account in the App Store once more in order to be able to download apps. You do NOT need to enter any payment info.

No Apple TV? No Problem! Share your iPad screen into your Google Meet to display any content from your iPad. This can be shared to an at home audience as well as an in-person audience!
You can turn off your webcam to maximize the iPad screen on your classroom display.
You can easily display and control your Google Slides using the App while presenting with your Apple TV, or present them from your computer and control them with your iPad using the Chrome Remote Desktop app.
Annotation Option:
Open the Google Slide. Click Present.
Click "More" and "Download as a PDF."
Go to your Files icon and open the PDF presentation. You now have a suite of pen tools to mark up as you present!

The Seesaw app is powerful all on it's own, but it can be a great white space to allow you to demonstrate anything. You can also save what you've created and push it out to your students in Seesaw for later viewing.
Seesaw has an expansive educator-created library of activities that you can demonstrate using your iPad and then assign to students for practice!

You can bring in your SMART Notebook files! To do this: Export the file as an .IWB file, and then import to Explain Everything.
They have an EDU version that has a few more features, as well as a subscription version that would allow you to work across platforms--Desktop computer, iPad, Chromebook, etc. The app costs $13.99, and the subscription is a monthly fee.
ShowMe: Another whiteboard app--but this one comes with an expansive educator-created library if you need inspiration!
Google Drive: Great for accessing and editing from the iPad.
Google Keep: Like virtual post it notes--I store my virtual to-do list here, as well as links to resources.
