Design Tool Inputs

• Module: Located on project Salesforce account under Financing

• Inverter: Located on project Salesforce account under Financing

• Circuit: How many modules do you have tieing into the same JBox

• Location: In this drop down you will determine where the conduit run will be located

• Furthest Array To Combiner Box (ft): Using our design software, measure the distance from your furthest array to the location of the combiner box. Input the distance in feet in this field

• Combiner Box to POI: POI (Point Of Interconnection). Measure the distance from the combiner box to the proposed interconnection location. Input the distance in feet in this field

• Electrical Service Entrance Type: Identify if the service going to the home is overhead or underground

• Electrical Service Equipment Type: Identify what configuration is the project's main service panel

• Electrical Equipment Condition: In this drop down you will call out any major or minor damage that is shown on the project existing electrical equipment

• Electrical Working Clearance: In this drop down you will call out any major or minor violations to the projects existing electrical equipment

• Existing Main Bus Rating (A): In this field you will input the projects Bus Bar rating

• Existing Main Disconnect Rating (A): In this field you will input the projects Main Breaker rating 

• Nearest PV Disconnect Location: In this drop down, you will explain the location of the AC Disco and/or the PV breaker in relation to the existing main disconnect

• Interconnection Method: Here is where you will list the interconnection method for our PV system 

• Panel Make and Model: Here is where you will identify the make and model of the panel we are interconnecting into

• Tandem Breaker Required: In this field, if tandeming a breaker is required for our inputted interconnection method, you will list the tandems you will need

  • PV Breaker: Input your PV breaker

  • Additional Breaker (If needed): List the tandem breakers needed

• Service Conductor Insulation type: Here is where you will identify if the wire insulation is fabric sheather or thermoplastic 

• Tap Location & Wire Length: If you interconnection is via a tap, select the appropriate drop down 

• Existing (or New) Subpanel Main Rating (A):  In this field you will input the projects Bus Bar rating

• Subpanel Bus Rating:  In this field you will input the projects Bus Bar rating

• New Main Disconnect:  In this field you will input the projects NEW Main Breaker rating 

• New Electrical Panel / Box Location:  In this drop down, you will explain the location of the AC Disco and/or the PV breaker in relation to the existing main disconnect
