You can consolidate your labels when equipment is stacked, back to back or side by side.
You may have to rotate the image to get all the labels to be visible.
When this is the case, make sure to leave a note in FieldPro that the reference map is not oriented true north.
Be thorough and mark the true locations. You should be able to make this map in under 2 minutes.
If the video extension to the right does not work, click the “open in drive” icon on the right to view the demonstration.
It is important to have the correct location for all survey items as this can have an impact on the design and the install.
Make sure to make this map while on site and give extra care when labeling:
Attic access locations.
Electrical equipment locations.
Electrical equipment location:
MSPs that are indoors more than 10 feet away from the meter can have extra design requirements for interconnection.
Mark interior panel locations as accurately as possible
Some utilities require equipment to be mounted on the front of the home or in front of any fence/gate
Make sure to label the accurate location of the meter and any gate/fence.
Attic Access location:
Label attic access locations and their associated roof sections as they appear in field pro.
This will help designers design for areas with attic access.
Label any roof without attic access as vaulted
This will help designer determine where attic access is not possible for the installation.
Additional labels to help with install:
Label AC units
Label overhead service lines
Label window wells
