Dashboard:
The dashboard is the home page for Solargraf! From here you can view all active projects within SolarGraf and the designs assigned to them.
Projects: Here is where you can find and search through the list of accounts by using the name and/or address of the project you are working on
The Projects tab is where you will spend the majority, if not all, of your time. Another useful page that can be used is the Support page. In this page you will be able to view training videos, live training, and even a live chat support with SolarGraf if you are experiencing issues with the software. Always escalate to your supervisor before using this live chat as you may experience large timing delays.
Here is where you will input the projects address and/or customer name. Once you have located the project you are working on, continue to the project overview by clicking on the hyperlinked address as seen in the image.
Here is the project overview page! Here is where you can select which design version you are working on and also view basic project information
The first step from here will be to clone the original proposal. Its very important to not miss this step in the scenario where we may want to revert back to the original version so we wont have to redo any work! To do so, select this drop down and select the “Clone” button. Name the clone FDV(x) with X representing the number of clones.
Once the clone has been created select Edit to begin creating the final design
From here you will be able to adjust the model of the structure and the placement of the PV modules
Under the Roof tab is where you will make model updates as well as obstructions and tree modeling
On the left hand side there is a sidebar for all house modeling tools and options. Here is where you will be making your modeling adjustments
In the top task bar near the right you will see an image that looks like a camera. Here is where you can cycle through the available options of aerial imagery. Utilize this feature to always have the highest quality imagery to ensure the upmost accuracy to your modeling and PV design
In the same task bar you will see an image that looks like a computer keyboard. If you select this, it will show you a legend of all of the accessible hotkeys within the software
BEFORE MOVING ONTO THE SOLAR PORTION ENSURE THE MODELING IS 100% COMPLETED. SOLAR PROGRESS WILL BE LOST IF YOU GO BACK TO ROOF.
Under the Solar tab is where you will layout your solar design
