Give children working below WTS (pre key stage) a different test to assess their progress and attainment
SEN children should be working on the SEN KPIs
Ensure children are provided with the support they need to achieve success
Ensure extra time is given to those who need it
Complete pace tests for all children
Provide a scribe for any children who need it
Carefully plan where and when you want to administer the assessments to ensure all children have the best possible chance to succeed
Allow children who struggle with managing their distractions to work in a different space
Timetable available rooms
Timetable any additional adults who may need to support the administration of the assessments
Calculate how many additional adults you will need
Communicate expectations with all adults
Carefully pair or group children based on the level of support they need
Ensure children are placed with the most appropriate adult
