Programme Objectives
Through this programme our aims are:
To provide opportunity to the learners to deepen their basic knowledge, Skill and understanding about Visual Art- Painting.
To develop the self-observation, visualization and self-motivation to create an art work.
Introduce them to concept of Indian Art Practices and Aesthetics.
To understand and use of Material and Technique
To promote aesthetics as a learning process in professional and academic arena.
To inculcate creativity through diverse range of creative activities and modes of expression.
Admission
The Programme is offered in both January and July sessions .
Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction of the programme is English.
Eligibility Criteria
Any 10th Pass from any Board (no upper age limit)
Duration of the Programme
Minimum duration of the programme is 6 Months and the maximum duration is 2 years.
Programme Fee
The fee for the programme is Rs.3600/- (University may revise the fee time to time. Please check with the advertisement or IGNOU website).

Programme Structure
The programme consists of the 3 theory courses and 3 Practical (total - 16 Credits, Theory - 6 Credit and Practical - 10 Credits, 1 credit = 30 hours of self study) each.

Learns will able to professional sustainability like home tuition, Exhibit their own art exhibition in art gallery or art markets.
