Programme Objectives
The objectives of the programme are to:
To develop the visualization and Designing sensibility to create an art work.
To understand and use of Material and Technique for graphic design.
Introduce them to concept of Indian Art Practices and Aesthetics.
To impart basic knowledge of Graphic designing and advertising.
Programme Fee
The fee for the programme is Rs.3600/- (University may revise the fee time to time. Please check with the advertisement or IGNOU website).
Eligibility
10th Pass (no upper age limit) are eligible for admission in Certificate in Visual Arts - Applied Arts (CVAA).
Target group
The programme is meant for young adults, working people and persons above the age of 18 who have successfully completed 10 or equivalent with basic understanding of art.
Duration of the Programme
Minimum duration: 6 months. Maximum duration: Two years

Programme Structure
The CVAA programme is of 16 credits (1 credit = 30 hours of self study). The programme consists of the 3 theory courses and 3 practical courses.
