“I always wanted to be a psychologist. I always wanted to help people.”
What is your favorite middle school memory?
“My favorite middle school memory is when I got out of the bus and I asked my mom “why don’;t they just give us candy for dinner?”
What is a place that you would like to go back to?
“I really want to go back to barcelona.You can go from the beach to the mountains.”
What do you think the greatest thing ever invented was?
“I think the greatest thing ever invented is certain types of technology, like computers and phones.”
If you were to go back in time, when would you go?
“If I were to travel back in time I would be 17 in high school.”
Why did you want to be a teacher?
“I always loved school but not necessarily academics . I just had good people around me and that's what inspired me. I didn't always want to be a teacher but I did understand the importance of fitness and health because I was playing sports and I wanted to teach people that phys ed is more than just sports.
How did covid affect your job?
“For phys ed it’s difficult because people are just afraids to do anything. And I think the mindsets just changed and I took group classes.”
What are the students like compared to when you started?
“I think the students changed a lot. I think we have to get back to the roots of being a good person and putting our values into the right spots and just general respect for other people's feelings.”
What do you want to change about school?
“I wish everyone would be nicer to each other, in general, you don't have to be friends but you have to be nice.”
What were you like in middle school?
“I loved middle school! I was very quiet but we all played together. There wasn't a lot of separation and I had a lot of good friends.” “I would rather become invisible because im afraid of heights”
What is your favorite unit to teach
“My favorite unit is volleyball”
What are your hobbies?
“I love, to cook it's very relaxing, its my #1,I like exercising too” “I like pineapple on pizza, but not all of the time”
What is it like working with your peers?
“It's like working with siblings. I love them.”
If you were trapped on an island what 3 things would you bring?
“I can't go because I would be miserable without my kids, but if I had to maybe a pot and flint”
Do you like vanilla or chocolate more?
“I like vanilla more, I would push chocolate away”
