SZA is an artist that everyone has been obsessing over recently. SZA has been around for a while but was recently discovered by more people from her recent hit Kill Bill. SZA, whose real name is Solana Imani Rowe, is a singer, songwriter, and musician. SZA was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 8 1989. She started her career early, she started to write music when she was a teenager. SZA started to gain recognition after the release of her debut EP, “See.SZA.Run,” in 2012. SZA is known for her unique style of music. “I think she is a talented singer and is fun to listen to,” said (6th grade) [Libi Ben-Baruch].
SZA’s music style often explores topics such as self-love, self-discovery, and personal growth. SZA is known to have relatable lyrics in her music, which makes her an even better artist! The release of her album, “Ctrl,” was released in 2017 and was a big commercial hit. The Album, “Ctrl,” featured hit singles such as “Love Galore” and “The Weekend,” which earned SZA several award nominations. “She’s so cool and sometimes the things she says are relatable,” said (6th grade) [Amina Amjad].
