Ysgol Pentre Church in Wales

Ysgol Pentre is a Church in Wales School.  We have a well established christian ethos that is at the heart of the school. The School was founded in 1866 and served the community with the dual purpose of Church for the worship of its parishioners, and school for the education of its children. 

Today Pentre School exists solely for the education of its pupils while retaining its denominational status as a Church Controlled Primary School. We have very close links with the local church of St. Mary’s Chirk.

We are a small primary school that caters for pupils from ages 3 - 11, creating a real sense of family.  

Our school is warm and welcoming, situated in the picturesque village of Pentre, near Chirk.
