Croeso i Ffederasiwn Dyffryn Dyfrdwy

The Dee Valley Federation was established in January 2014 and includes Pentre CIW, Froncysyllte CP School and Garth CP School. 

A  Federation is when a group of schools come together under a single Governing Body and one Head Teacher.  This is different from an amalgamation when individual schools close and merge to form one new school. Each school in a Federation retains its own identity,  its name,  its uniform and its own budget.

The Federation provides an exciting opportunity to enhance and improve education for the children in the Dee Valley. It will enable us to continue to offer the advantages of a small school and a caring and supportive ‘family’ environment whilst also offering the benefits of working together as a larger school community.
