Come into school for a warm cuppa and chat with the Criw Cymraeg. You will receive a warm welcome and learn some Welsh phrases. We will also share a recording of our school Eisteddfod performances!

Diolch to all the families who attended. We enjoyed sharing our Eisteddfod performances with you and sharing a cuppa and some Welsh chat with the Criw Cymraeg.

GWOBR AUR /GOLD AWARD

We have been awarded the Siarter Iaith Gold Award!

After reviewing the evidence submitted and spending the morning in school with pupils, staff members and governors the verifier was impressed by our school ethos, the high standard of Welsh and our dedicated Criw Cymraeg who were credited for their passion and enthusiasm for the Welsh language and their heritage.

Gwobr Efydd /Bronze Award

During Summer term 2021 the Criw Cymraeg helped our school achieve the Siarter Iaith Bronze award. As a school we were commended on the very evident strong Welsh ethos throughout the school and the active role played by the Criw in promoting the Welsh language and a sense of pride in our Welsh identity.

Gwobr Arian / Silver Award

In May 2022 Criw Cymraeg led the school to success once again when we achieved The Siarter Iaith Silver Award. We were praised by the verifiers for the links we have made within the local community. These links help to strengthen our ongoing commitment to developing the Welsh language in school, at home and within the wider community.
