Online Safety

Every day our children are online at school, at home and with their friends. Laptops, smartphones and gaming consoles mean that children can access and use the internet wherever they go.

Whenever they are online they are exposed to risks that can sometimes be difficult to discern and therefore staying safe online is really important.

We teach our children how to identify these risks and what to do when they face them. Yet, at home and when out with friends, it is vital that we continue to teach our children how to use the internet safely and what steps to take when they come across unsuitable content.

Online safety is an integral part of children’s education in today’s digital world and is embedded in their learning at school. We also want to help our parents and children improve their own understanding of  online safety issues so they can learn to use the internet and all digital media in a safe and secure way.
