Why is this unit of inquiry important for our learners?
An inquiry into:
Developing a curiosity about the diversity of living things in our world;
Recognising and identifying the key features in ocean habitats;
Understanding and recognising there are different environments in our world.
Recognising their responsibility to care for others and living things.
Learners will build up their knowledge of living things to connect and apply in new contexts.
Learners will begin to express ideas and share their knowledge about the living things and environments.
Learners are developing knowledge about their world and are beginning to show their commitment to the sustainability of their world.
Learners are building their mental and emotional wellbeing by developing confidence.
