Getting to know you- Mrs Jones
What is your ideal trip?
My ideal trip would be to the Norweigian Fjords. It is the most beautiful place I have ever been, with snow topped mountains and beautiful scenery. The folklore is also amusing.
Interesting fact about me
I am in the Guiness Book of Records! Three years ago I took part in a Tapathon for Children In Need. Lots of tap dancing groups across Britain learned a dance routine and performed it at exactly the same time. We smashed the record and got our place in the record book. We danced to Uptown Funk by Bruno Marrs and it was great fun!
What do I love to do?
Besides playing and listening to music, I absolutely love to read and bake, but not at the same time!
My first school memory
My first memory is of my infant school. I remember that the Headteacher at the time would bring her poodle to school with her and it was called Kim. She would have a sheet of plywood across the entrance to her office to stop the dog escaping! It was quite scary! I also remember my first teacher too. She was called Miss Plaister. She would give us sneaky biscuits with our milk each day and she was kind and caring and funny.
Please listen to your child read at home as often as possible. Reading books need to be returned to school every Friday. A new reading book will be sent home on Fridays.
Homework and spellings will be uploaded on Monday on Seesaw. Spelling tests will be on a Monday. There will normally be a practical activity.
Class 2's PE day is a Thursday. Please can send your child to school wearing their PE kit and trainers. In addition, please ensure your child has a water bottle on this day.
