The Open Education Center accepts inquiries about online classes. This time, we shared information from the FAQ, such as "Registration of an ELMS account is necessary to add users other than @eis.hokudai.ac.jp or @elms.hokudai.ac.jp to Google Classroom," "Due to the increase in the implementation of online classes, the disk capacity used by ELMS Moodle is increasing, and students are notified to reduce the file size of their submissions as much as possible," and "There is no storage limit for Google Drive in ELMS's G-suite, so it can be used as a place for students to share files."
In the online class introduction guide, we are collecting case studies and plans for implementing online classes to promote the sharing of knowledge and know-how. This time, we introduced examples received on "Information security for students with hearing impairments," "Methods for implementing classes using video conferencing," and "How to obtain student email addresses."
In the chat, we received questions and requests such as "Is the file size displayed in Moodle's submission file the size for each assignment (one file)?" "Is there a possibility that the online education workshop held in the future will be counted as FD?" and "Please introduce how to create a breakout room in Webex." We will include the answers in the FAQ, so please refer to it.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this event. We also want to express our gratitude to those who shared their experiences with online teaching.

The study group that was held every Thursday has now come to an end. In the future, we plan to hold an "Online Education Workshop" once a month. We will continue to provide information and build a community on the approach to online education in the "New Normal." Thank you for your continued support.
