In my research, my aim was to find out how certain types of religious and political morals affect one’s likelihood to partake in IVF/fertility treatments. The participants in the study were all over 18 and thinking about having a child in the next five years. They were also compiled in person and online from a wide variety of areas. I used a qualitative research method to collect abstract, personalized data from participants. I found that there was generally not a correlation between the variables, but most participants did seem supportive of IVF treatments and believe that they should be available to all who may need it. The long term impact of my data is that it may assist people like politicians and/or doctors who address issues about IVF head on. It could potentially help them to see how different types of people view these treatments to see how these professions could change how they present it.
