If a personal emergency arises that affects a full-time student’s ability to manage necessary expenses (excluding tuition, fees, and on-campus housing costs), the student may apply for one-time financial assistance from the Student Emergency Assistance Fund (SEAF). Funds may be allocated in the form of a gift (no repayment required) or a loan (repayment required). In all cases, financial need will be reviewed in consultation with Student Financial Services before emergency assistance funds are awarded.
