Information Technology Services (ITS) provides technology services and support to the Hofstra community. During the fall and spring semesters, support services are available Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., and Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The ITS Service Desk is closed on designated University holidays.

Hammer Lab is available for computer use and collaborative study, with access to all the software you need to complete your academic work. The Lab is located in Room 125A Axinn Library (entrance adjacent to the Unispan) and it is open 24/7 during the fall and spring semesters, and closed on designated University holidays.
PrideDesktop allows students to access a Hofstra lab computer from anywhere using their personal computer, tablet, or phone. Learn more about PrideDesktop at hofstra.edu/pridedesktop.
The PridePrint service allows students to print to an on-campus printer from any campus computer or from their personal computer, tablet, or phone. Learn more about PridePrint at hofstra.edu/prideprint.
Students can sign up for a free Microsoft 365 subscription and download the full version of Microsoft Office (at NO ADDITIONAL COST) via the MyApps icon in the my.hofstra.edu portal.
Hofstra’s campus is covered by eduroam, a robust, high-speed wireless (Wi-Fi) network. Eduroam is available in all campus buildings and in many outdoor spaces. Details about the University’s Wi-Fi network can be found at hofstra.edu/wireless.
In addition to Wi-Fi connectivity, residential students can request a wired network port in their room. Details about wired network access in residence halls are available at hofstra.edu/wired.
