Packet and training provided by Student Support Services Dept.
School personnel responsible for collecting SAT Packet (progress monitoring should be done 6 to 8 weeks instead of 4 to 6 weeks as stated)
Elementary - School Counselors
Secondary - School Social Worker
In order for a SAT Packet to be complete it must contain:
At least 1 observation from MTSS Coordinator
MTSS coordinator must be included in the initial meeting with the parent to discuss the completed SAT packet results and decide next steps for the student.
During the 25/26 SY, only 2 schools in the district followed this process: RHES & UES
Even with parent requests for referral, the SAT packet must be completed concurrently along with testing for EC services to ensure the appropriate data is collected to make a well informed decision.
