Hyneria lived in Devonian seas, which averaged "only" 80 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm saying "only" because the Silurian and Ordovician periods were around 120 degrees Fahrenheit on average. Anyways, I am getting off topic. Hyneria lived in North America, which was still covered in water. The lakes they lived in were murky, and the first sharks also lived with it. The nearby land that was covered by gigantic seed ferns, a plant that grew to be 40 feet tall, and inbetween seed-bearing plants and ferns, hence the name, seed fern.
