Diictodon was an eighteen inch long mammal-like reptile with two tusks sprouting from its mouth. Diictodons had primitive ear bones growing from its jaws, something no reptiles have. Diictodon was an elite digger, and likely scraped the dirt/sand with their paws and beak. They lived in pairs, and burrowed nearby each other.
Diictodon being compared to a human hand. 30 centimeters is equal to almost 12 inches (11.8110236 to be exact). The Diictodon in this image would've been about 47 centimeters long, from beak to tail.
The skeleton of Lystrosaurus, a descendant of Diictodon, that nearly took over the planet.
