Gorgonopsids lived mainly in two places: Southern Africa, and Siberia. Inostrancevia, the largest gorgonpsian, lived in Siberia, whereas the second largest, Rubidgea, lived in South Africa. Back when they were alive, there was one super continent called Pangaea. In the late Permian, there was a vast desert covering most of the middle of Pangaea, even reaching Siberia, which was still quite far from the equator. Gorgonopsids would've coexisted with dicynodonts such as Diictodon, and also lived with pareiasaurs such as Scutosaurus. The main food source for herbivores would be tiny bushes. Water was scarce, and many animals gathered together to drink from tiny water holes.
Just the big mass, panthalassa, the big ocean, is not shown.
