These one-time steps should be done on a computer. You may not be able to do these on a phone.

Import your class schedule into your calendar. (This needs to be done each semester after class schedule is finalized)
Link your Canvas Calendar Feed to stay on top of assignments.
Sync your Calendar to your phone to see all your events in one place.
Some of the cards may be found on your Academics tab. Use the Bookmark ribbon to save to your Home tab.
It is best to not do this until after your schedule has been finalized in order to avoid having to remove the old schedule from your calendar before adding the updated one.
Consider doing this the week before classes to ensure correct room numbers and other details.
From the myHCC Dashboard, go to
My Class Resources → Class Schedule

My Student Resources → My Student Profile → Class Schedule
2. Select the desired term.
Once in Class Schedule
Select the desired Term.
click the Email Schedule button.
By default your HCC student email will be selected. You can also specify the Subject for the email so that it is easier to find when it arrives in your mailbox.
Then click the Send button.
Soon after pressing Send you should receive an email from studentrecords@hcc.edu with your calendar.
Scroll down to the bottom of the email and click the Download link and save the file to somewhere you can easily access.
Next go to your calendar for your HCC email account. On the panel on the left side, scroll down until you find Other calendars and click on the + button.
This will open another menu, choose Import.
This will change the main panel on the screen. Click on the Select file from your computer button and find the calendar (.ics) file you just downloaded from your email.
Click the Import button to import the calendar.
You may want to go through the semester and review the Academic Calendar for holidays. You can delete the single occurrence of the class or move it to another day, if a day after a holiday follows a different day’s schedule. Be sure to make the change for This Event Only.
For example, the Tuesday following President’s Day 2025 follows a Monday schedule.
