I think that technology will be a lot different in 100 years than it is now. In 100 years I think that there will be solar-powered cars because we have gone from gas-powered cars to some brands of cars being electric. I think this because solar-powered cars would be a lot more practical because you won’t have to stop and pay money for gas or wait for your car to charge. You would only have to get in your car a drive because when something is solar powered it doesn’t use all of that solar power right away, it stores it so that can be used when the sun isn’t shining.
I don't only think that the cars will be different, I also think that electronics will be different. I think that we won’t have desktop computers anymore because laptops and Chromebooks will get way more popular and will be used in everyday life and they are easier to transport. I think that stay at home jobs will also be a lot more popular because people will most likely have laptops that they can bring with them everywhere. So if they are going on a road trip they can bring their laptop with them and while they are in the car kids can be doing school work on their laptops and the adult that isn’t driving can be doing work.
Another thing that I think will be different is appliances. Right now we have appliances that you can control from your phone but I think that in 100 years appliances will be able to load themselves. All that you will have to do is bring your laundry over in front of the washer and the washer can have like a robot arm that can grab your laundry out and put the detergent and everything in the washer and it will be able to start it. Then the dryer can have an arm and grab the laundry out of the washer and put the dryer sheets in the dryer and start it.
More kinds of technology that I think will be different are TVs. I think that TVs will be different because they keep getting better every year so why wouldn’t they be different 100 years from now? I think that they will be different by having clear TVs. The TVs will be like windows when they are off but when they are turned on the only thing that won’t be clear would be whatever you are watching.
Another thing that I think will be different are radios. I think that they will be different because if our phones and cars are changing then the radios should change to. I think that people will stop putting radios in cars because people will start only using their phones for music so there will be no need for radios in cars.
I also think that there won’t be any radio stations at all because one would use them because they wouldn’t be used in cars or on phones. I think that people would just play certain songs and wouldn’t want to listen to a whole radio station.
