This was the beginning of my project which I deleted because the design wasn't going to work.
This is the wording on my comb.
These are the holes of my comb that make the different teeth.
This is the final product of my comb.
I made some changes and shortened the gaps for the teeth.
Using Tinkercad , I created a comb with the word comb on it because it is a everyday thing that I added something to to make it "creative". I did this so I could follow all of the criteria for this project. I did this by making something and then deleting it and starting over to make it better.
During this process, I learned how to copy and paste things on to a 3-D design . I also learned how to add words to a 3-D design. One last thing that I learned how to do is zoom in and out in Tinkercad.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I made one version and didn't like how it turned out so I deleted it and made a new one. This is one step in the Innovative Design process.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the project to look how I wanted it. I was able to do it by deleting and rebuilding. I also could not figure out how to copy and paste things on to my project but Mr. Renner helped me figure it out .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how the hook on the comb looks. The reason why I would change it is because I think that the hook part looks to square instead of round like it should. I would also change the color of the comb because personally I don't like the color red.
