This picture is showing what the goal looked like after it was done being painted.
This picture is showing us in the process of painting the "field" of the Foosball table.
This picture is showing one perspective of the field after being painted.
This picture is showing one last perspective of the Foosball table after being painted.
This is one other perspective of the Foosball table once the outside has been painted.
This is our video showing how our Foosball table works.
Ashley and I have made a Foosball table out of cardboard, plastic straws, and popsicle sticks. We have painted the inside to make it look more like the felt on the inside of a regular Foosball table. We have also colored the popsicle sticks to go with the ends of the straws on the Foosball table.
I have learned how to use the time that I am given wisely. I have learned this because you have to plan out in order to get it done before it is due. I did this by giving myself two days for painting, one day for gluing and cutting, and two days for making a page on my website.
The 7 standards of this class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because you have to decide what you are going to build and how you are going to build it. One other standard that my project ties to is Empowered Learner because you have to have the knowledge of using you tools in order to build your project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the supplies. I was able to do it by splitting up the supplies that we needed and using things that we already had at home.We also used some of the supplies and tools that was already provided to us by Mr. Renner.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the "field". The reason why I would change it is because if it was a piece of paper it would be more even therefore it would be easier to play. I would also change how the goals are. I would change this because it is hard to get the "soccer ball" out of the field.
