DAY 1

• I have created my name animated. I have also created a hero game where you collect stars. For my name I added background music and transitions. For my superhero I have added background music and changed the hero.

• I have learned how to change characters in scratch and also how to make the background move. I also learned how to make letters pulse,One final thing that I have learned how to add music for whenever a letter is clicked.

• A few MITECS standards that this project is tied to is Empowered learner and Innovative Designer. It is connected to Empowered learner because I had to decide what I wanted to do to make my project more interesting. I also had to decide what I wanted to do for the super hero and what word I wanted to do for the animated name. This project is connected to Innovative Designer because this project is connected to the design process all the way through and the whole part of design thinking is the design thinking process.

• One challenge that I overcame was getting background music to go the right speed and the right volume.I overcame this challenge by going back to the videos and watching and listening more carefully.One other challenge was figuring out how to save the projects that I made. I overcame this challenge when Mr.Renner told the class to share if they knew how save the projects.

• What I would do differently is do a different funner background. I would do this because the background that I choose was a zig-zagged background that changed color when the green flag was clicked.I would like to have more of a setting in space or a city instead.

• One CTE connection that there is in this project is a career in software engineering. This would be a good career that connects to this project because you have to use coding to enginner software and you have to do the same in this project.It also connects to a career in computer programming because once again you have to use coding to program a computer.
