7 Standards

1)Empowered Learner

Make learning goals and think of strategies to help you achieve them. Also use resources that are given to you to help you achieve your learning goals. Use technology to look for feedback that informs and improves your practice and to demonstrate your learning in a variety of ways.

2)Digital Citizen

Understanding your rights/responsibilities on the internet. Making sure that you are following the guidelines/rules for the internet. Engage in positive, safe, and legal, behavior when using technology.

3)Knowledge Constructor

Find different resources on the internet to help you understand you topic better. Making sure that the resources you are using are accurate and trustworthy. Build knowledge by actively exploring real world issues and problems, developing ideas and theories, and aiming to find answers and solutions.

4)Innovative Designer

Identify/solve problems by thinking of new solutions. Develop test and redo solutions to your problems. Develop, test, and refine prototypes as part of a design process.

5)Computational Thinker

Develop and understanding of the problem to think of a better solution for it. Break your problem(s) into parts to also understand it better. Understand how automation works and think of steps to create and test automated solutions.

6)Creative Communicator

Communicate you idea clearly using the tools, styles, and formats provided for you. Create your own original ideas or use digital resources to make a new creation. Publish/present content that customizes the message for their intended purpose.

7)Global Collaborator

Use digital tools to work with other learners around the world with a variety of cultures/backgrounds. Contribute to teams to make projects with other global learners. Explore local and global issues and work with others to investigate solutions.
