For this project I am working in a team with Mya and Lamarcus
In order to do this we will need the Star Wars Bloxel board and iPads
We will make multiple things but the first one that we want to do is a square pumpkin
We will make our names and use all of the blocks
On day 1 we only made our list of 25 things and our sentences for the preparation of our project'

On day 4 I wrote my sentences.
Using Star Wars Bloxels, I created a pumpkin for Halloween. I made this because Halloween is next Saturday I wanted to do something for Halloween. I also created a actual game. I made this because I wanted to create something that would be a challenge for me.
During this process, I learned ho to change how things look. I did this by looking at the different colored blocks in the apps and changing them to look how I wanted them to. I also learned how to make the games with the right color blocks so I could make them do what I wanted them to. I did this by looking at the different color blocks on the app and seeing what they could do so that I could design the app how I wanted.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I had to learn how to make the blocks do the right things and I did that by looking through what each of the colored blocks did. This project also ties to Innovative Designer because you have to design what you are going to make and you also have to design how the blocks are going to look in the game.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what I was going to make. I was able to do it by going on to Mr. Renner's website and looking at past students work to see what they did and I made my on version of that thing. Another challenge that I overcame was getting the blocks to look like and do what I wanted them to. I was able to do it by clicking on each of the different colored blocks on the app to see what they did and to see what I could change them to look like.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of projects that I did. The reason why I would change it is because I would have liked to do more than two things but because of the time I wasn't able to. Another thing that I would change is my first design because I would leave it a pumpkin for Halloween but I would make it more of a challenge to win.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in building because you have to build with the blocks to make your game.
