In a team with Eva

Cloth, sewing machine, string, scissors
What is your plan to create in this project?
A cat blanket
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will be hand made by us.
Day 1: Figured out what we were going to make
Day 2: Practiced and made random things.
Day 3: started to add the back.
Day 4: Did the back.
Day 5: Cut off extra outside and fixed up tiny spots that werent sewed.
Day 6: Made the video of how to work the machine.
Using a sewing machine, thread, and cloth. I created a cat blanket. I created this because Eva's cat would like it to stay warm.
During this process, I learned how to use a sewing machine.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because we made something.
A challenge I overcame on this project was running out of thread. I was able to do it by watching a video and putting on another roll of thread.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the cloth we used. The reason why I would change it is because some of the cloth is different texture and it makes the machine jam up and stop working.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in making blankets because we sewed a blanket together and made one.
