Reflection:

• Using the iPad, iMovie, non copy-write images, music, and a computer.  I created a cool video on how I have changed since last year. I made this video because I think it is pretty cool to see how I have changed and things I like to do now compared to last year. I added non copy-write images like my new favorite fruit and new favorite car. I also added that I learned how to bedazzle!

• During this process, I learned how to add little sound effects. I learned how to do this by looking at the different sounds I could use. I listened to a couple and ended up adding a car sound when I showed my new favorite car. Then I put in a dog barking when the video showed a picture of a golden lab. My favorite dog. I also realized that I can add a voice over and a sound effect and a quiet music in the background all at once which I did not know that I could do that.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen. During this project I was a digital citizen because I used non copy-write images to put in my video that I made about me! Another reason I was a digital citizen during this project was because I used the technology to make a video that is okay to put on the internet and that is not copy-write.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to add little sound effects. I was able to add little sound effects to my video by exploring the app more and looking at the different audio options. After I did that I seen sound effects, so then I added a couple to my video and put them where I needed them to be. I think it is very cool to over lap the sounds so they sound longer.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change my voice over. The reason why I would change my voice over is because I should have had a voice over through out the whole video saying what the pictures were about and not just having text boxes popping up at every different picture. Even though I do like the text boxes it would have been better to have a voice over.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multi Media CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in Videographers My project connects to videographers because I had to make my own video to make different sound effects and add images and also transitions. I think it would be cool to be a Videographer! Overall this project was really fun and I liked getting to make your own video about you/ how you have changed since last year.
