Started to fill out my reflection
Finished working on reflection
Using an iPad, iMovie, and the internet, I created a video about things that I like including my animals and things I do in my free time because these things are important to me especially my animals. In my video I included the closest pictures to my animals that I could find. The animals I included were my rabbit Loki, my rabbit pepper, my cat Link, my horse that passed Zeke, and a picture of Mrs. Carls bearded dragon flame that I took care of over summer.
During this process, I learned how to use iMovie, add titles to pictures, how to add a video to my website, how to add background music and how to do and add a voice over. I learned how to do these things by watching Mr. Renner demonstrate and then I followed what he did. The hardest thing that we learned how to do was the background music.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I had to make my video in a specific order . I couldn't have done my voiceover then titles then pictures it wouldn't have worked. I had to do things in an order. I needed to have a plan and follow it to be able to make my video.
A challenge I overcame on this project was I had no clue how to upload a video from an iPad to my computer. I was able to do it by watching Mr. Renner so it first then, I did the same exact thing. Taking the video and upload it to my goggle drive adding it to a specials folder that we made earlier and once we added it to the folder then, we were able to add it to our websites.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change photos and being better with editing. The reason why I would change it is because I would like to have actually pictures of my animals or places so it could be more realistic. I couldn't find an exact picture of my rabbit so I had to use one that looked kind of similar. I would also like to have different music in the background and be able to fix my voice over. The song was not the one I really wanted but we only had a few options that we knew were not copywrite. I want my voice to sound better with zero background noise.
