Make sure you have your video of a project

• Using the iPad, I created multiple buildings out of wooden blocks because it sounded really fun to do. Another reason is that the wooden blocks seemed like they would be the best for what we wanted to build.

•  During this process, I learned how to place blocks and make them stable enough to the point where I could build a lot of stuff on top of it. Another thing I learned is that the wooden blocks are really hard to build with as they are fragile.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to a global collaborator because I am putting out a website that can be viewed by anyone. Another reason that I am a global collaborator is because people can see what I have managed to build without being blocked out.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was managing to make my buildings stable. I was able to do it by stacking multiple blocks next to each other for added support. Another challenge I overcame was making something sturdy that would also stand when the table was bumped and I managed to make it work by making something thick and stable.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change it when we gave up on the pantheon. The reason why I would change it is because we gave up fairly early in our project. another thing I'd change is how I made the giant tower.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia and engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in project designing because I oversaw what we built. as well as figured out how to build something while having it be cost-efficient.
