I will be working by myself, I'll need my iPad and iMovie, and I will create a quality video about a subject of my choice, I'd like to think that my unique trait will be that it will be made by me and will use my humor
I worked on my website I downloaded images and used iMovie
I used sounds and images inside of my video whilst making it about braking a bone
finished voice overs
made some "quality" changes and added/ removed some sound effects
Using iMovie, I created a video about breaking a bone because I felt it was a good choice pretty easy and I have broken a bone as well.
During this process, I learned how to change transitions and the differences between Creative Commons licensed and normal images.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I used a search engine to find the images for my video using the Creative Commons license.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding sound effects and good audio volumes. I was able to do it by thinking about what I could add or remove to make the video simple yet good as well as use different speeds or volume settings.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what bone was shown to be broken. The reason why I would change what sound effects I used and I would add much better voiceovers.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in computer programming because it used a bunch of techs and the drive to transfer my video from my iPad to my computer so I could add it to my website. Which was kinda tricky due to me having to bring it to my drive.
