7p6 virtual reality

Using CoSpaces, a computer, and an iPod, I created a fun little maze for people to explore and find secrets because I wanted to make a world that people could have fun with and do something on. One reason I created the maze is because it sounded like fun and it was a part of my 10 ideas. The first part of my maze is pretty silly and at the end its pretty basic.

During this process, I learned new ways to code and use said code to make intricate scenes. Another thing I learned was the ability to apply physics to something. I also learned how to make certain items appear/disappear when you the camera collide with a certain object

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I am using a website to publish my creations for the public to see. One other reason is that if someone wants to see my website it is retally available

A challenge I overcame on this project was coding bugs. I was able to do it by testing out with different lines of code to see what ones would work and what ones would break my maze. Another challenge was making my walls semi-even because a lot of the time my entire maze was a bunch of broken walls.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the ending of this maze. The reason why I would change it is because I found the end to be unsatisfactory. Another thing I would do is change what items are where and the length of my maze as I found it too short

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in software engineering.
