just tried out with micro bits

finshed two projects and started a third

finally finished 3rd and 4th projects

experimented with the micro bits and used multiple of the side keys to get what i needed

did nothing but try to do teleporting duck

did a little programming and failed to complete our duck

Using the micro-bit, I created a thermometer because its a cool gadget and the code for it was sorta tricky.
During this process, I learned how to code and find strands of code to get the out come of what I wanted the micro-bit to do.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I am putting whatever I did online for the world to see.
A challenge I overcame on this project was our code not working. I was able to do it by giving up on the duck and changing it to another one.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the type of projects I did and I would try the harder ones. The reason why I would change it is because a lot of my projects were simple stands of code maybe 1-4 things of code.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming +CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in graphic design because I used the micro-bit to show visuals using LED's.
