Planning Questions:

I am working by myself on this project.
I will need an iPod, a computer, and a Sphero bolt.
I plan to create a series of instructional videos that will help kids in the future.
My project is unique because it is coordinated with all my other classmates to make a larger project.

Reflection:

Using an iPod, I created several instructional videos because it will help future students understand how to use the technology in the classroom. I created three videos in this project. The first one teaches how to connect to a Sphero Bolt, the second one teaches how to publish your website, open a private browser, and check whether your video is public. The third shows how to add a video to your website folder on google drive.
During this process, I learned how to screen record on an iPod. I screen recorded my instructional video on how to connect to the Sphero bolt. Then I edited it with iMovie and added it to the website.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I am helping students who aren't sure how classroom equipment works. These videos will be grouped together with all the other videos from this class to help future students.
A challenge I overcame on this project was uploading movies with titles. I was able to do it by going back into iMovie and clicking underneath the soundtrack. I then added the title, words, style, color, and saved it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the beginning of the videos. The reason why I would change it is because I would add a commentary explaining what is going on in the video. Although the videos are rather self-explanatory it would never hurts to add this.

My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in teaching and YouTube.
