VIRTUAL ART
An in depth look at COLOR, and a continuation of our incorporation of various
Lines and Shapes!
OBJECTIVE:
Each student will follow along with guided instructions/video tutorial to create and complete their own Rainbow Landscape artwork, incorporating and practicing their lines, while starting to incorporate Color Order as well, using multiple media that allow for student choice, according to the accompanying rubric.
A Landscape is an artwork that shows a place or an environment.
Landscapes could be of valleys, fields, forests, beaches, farms, neighborhoods, etc.
Rainbows are a natural phenomenon that occurs when there is bright sunshine and lots of moisture in the air at the same time (i.e. high humidity, at waterfalls, or when it's raining)
Over the years, Scientists discovered that these Rainbows were spectrums of light, and always showed up in a certain order.
When drawing our own rainbows, we still use that same color order.
When there's a double rainbow, the color order begins again, under purple, with Red.
