Thank you for covering my classes today! The students can use any of the supplies from our materials countertop except the colored pencils/oil pastels on the top shelf.
ALL CLASSES will have 1 period to complete this lesson , and take all papers/artwork/coloring pages home with them.
OBJECTIVE:
Each student will follow along with guided instruction to create and complete their own seasonally inspired Scarecrow artwork incorporating lines, texture, shapes, and colors, using coloring media that allow for student choice.

Pass out the scare crow themed warm up,
and use the 5 minute timer video to allow the students 5 minutes with the marker cups *in the blue bin on the supply countertop*

Once the timer goes off, the students must return the markers to the blue bin and move on with the lesson.

Pass out the white paper to the students, and you can pass out pencils or call table colors to choose their own pencils.
Follow along with the guided drawing step-by-step below to draw along with the kids using the green hovercam program to display your drawing on the board, or have the kids look at the steps and draw on their own

Once drawn, please have students use the black sharpies to trace over pencils lines, and then have the students retrieve a box of crayons per table to color in their scarecrow artworks *Entirely*

If there is time at the end of class, the students may choose a coloring page from the silver shelves or the page provided with this lesson (seen below) to color for the remainder of class. You can also feel free to clean up 5 minutes before the teacher is due to arrive and play the Peep and the Big Wide World episode below
