Pickett N902-ES Simplex Trig and N-1010-ES Trig

The Pickett N902 model was produced in the United States from 1957 until 1975. The early models were fabricated with magnesium and after 1959 with aluminum, had an all plastic cursor screwed to metallic ends the early models, plastic ends after 1960, and everything hold with metallic braces. The N902 is a basic rule for students and professionals with 10 scales only on the front side: K, A [ B, T Cot, S Cos, CI, C ] D, L. On the back side there is a kind of cheat sheet with instructions to use this rule.

The Pickett N1010 duplex model was produced in the United States from 1959 until the 1970's. These models were fabricated all aluminum, all plastic cursor screwed to plastic ends, and also hold with metallic braces. With 17 scales, this rule fits the needs of students, professionals, and basic Science and Engineering applications. This model does not have Log-Log scales. The scales on the N1010 are: K, A [ B, ST, T Cot, S Cos, C ] D, DI on the front face, and L, DF [ CF, CIF, CI, C ] D, DI on the back face.

According to the logo on these rules, I estimate that the N1010 item was fabricated in 1959-1960, and the N902 item 1969-1972, and according with some brochure from the early 1960's, the 1010 models had a cost of $ 10.00 USD (about $ 88.00 in 2020). The cost of the 902 models in the early 1970's was $ 5.95 (about $ 40.00 in 2020).
