Dietzgen Microglide Vector Type LogLog N1725

The Microglide Vector Type Log Log N1725 was produced in the United States from 1956 until 1972 and was the successor of the 1725 model produced between 1946-1955. Fabricated with wood (mahogany?), sides laminated with white plastic but not fully the edges, leaving two beautiful and elegant wood lines, and metal framed cursor screwed to plastic ends.

The N1725 model was designed for science and engineering applications, and with 6 logarithmic plus 3 hyperbolic scales was specially useful for electric engineers. The scales on this model are: Th, Sh2, Sh1, A [ B, T<45 Cot, T>45 Cot, ST, S Cos ] D, DI, K on the front face, and LL01, LL02, LL03, DF [ CF, CIF, L, CI, C ] D, LL3, LL2, LL1 on the back face.

According with the serial number on the specimen in this collection, this was fabricated between 1968-1969:
