Parent's Association

Global Jaya Parent Association: Internal Section has conducted a series of questionnaires to get an idea from both students and parents on their expectations for Global Jaya School After School Activities (ASA) programs. 

127 responses have been collected since the end of November 2023 with a respondent of 89% parents and 11% students, mostly from year 1 and year 7.

•  34% respondents; who mostly have previously joined and will be joining Sport ASA of Basketball, Soccer and Swimming, come with moderate expectations, while 63% have high to very high expectations.

•  Most respondents satisfied with the variety of ASA Sports with a 75% score and 76,5 % agreed that mix providers; from both internal and external, should organize and lead the ASA Sports. 

• 52% considered a fee between 1 – 2 million rupiah is reasonable for per child per semester.

• 88% believe that ASA Sports should be provided all year long rather than per semester. 

Through these data, we hope there will definitely be a significant change for the better in our After School Activities especially in sports in terms of quality as well as quantity. 

On Friday, January 19th 2024 Global Jaya Parent Association held its second Islamic Study Session (Kajian Islam) at Multi Purpose Hall (MPH), Global Jaya School. Ustadz Afdholi Ali Rachman, MA; whose an experienced and respected ustadz, also a regular speaker at Kebayoran Residence Mosque led the Islamic study session.

Discussing a theme of BERSERAH TANPA MENYERAH (Surrender without Giving Up), Ustadz Afdholi Ali Rachman explored more about how to surrender completely to Allah SWT and your soul will be saved and how it did not mean admit defeat but believing in the greater good. Kajian Islam went smoothly with a lot of enthusiastic attendees.
