NEW! PressReader App for Digital Newspapers and Magazines

To give you a broad selection of resources, GJS Library subscribes to a few different digital platforms. One of these, PressReader, is a platform that provides schools with access to the largest current digital collection of current newspapers and magazines from trusted publishers from over 120 countries in 60 different languages, making it a truly international resource.

At the start of Semester two, most of the newspapers and magazine titles no longer available in print editions will be moving to the PressReader platform. What this means for you: you can now find more digital newspapers and magazines together in one place.

So, how do you find them? It depends on what device you're using.

Access from school

First things first, ensure the service is working

1. Connect to Global Jaya School Wi-Fi and launch PressReader via either pressreader.com or the PressReader app; you can download the PressReader App from Google Play or App Store

2. Check if you see your institution's welcome message and try opening a publication by clicking “select publication.”

4. If you cannot see your institution's welcome message, please find and click the hotspot icon “the green tea cup” on the top of the main page, like in the picture below

Access from home

To access from home, please use your Google school account, e.g. you@globaljaya.com or you@student.globaljaya.com and click this link for guidance.
