During our first YLM this year, the Year 10s were put into their houses and asked to construct the tallest combined two towers they could using spaghetti, marshmallows and tape. The idea here was for students to work together, to communicate and to be creative as well as critical thinkers. It was a great chance for students to meet and interact with people they may have never met or not usually interact with. The results were amazing as the teams raced against each other and the clock. The winners of the challenge were Garuda with two towers that measured 2.14 meters when added together. Well done Year 10, looking forward to a fun year together!Â
