Year 6

This year on April 21, 2022, Global Jaya celebrated two big events. The first event is Earth Day. During this event, the Environment committee organized for each class in the Primary to bring seeds to school and have the seeds planted in the area provided by the committee to plant those seeds. Prior to the event, Year 6 students independently organized themselves to bring and share seeds with one another. During the event, Year 6 students were excited to plant the seeds themselves and looking forward to seeing how the seeds grow.

The second event the Primary school celebrated is Kartini Day. For this event, every year levels run various interesting and exciting activities. In Year 6, the activity that the Year 6 do is students create an infographic about Kartini and one other famous person of their choice. The activity started by identifying the values students learned from Ibu Kartini and the famous person of their choice such as perseverance, independence, etc. After they managed to identify the values, then Year 6 students write down how they can implement and show those values identified from Ibu Kartini and the other famous person in their daily lives. Once they complete this, then Year 6 students put all of this information in an infographic that they created digitally. Below are some of the infographics Year 6 students created.
